Officials with the Forsyth County Schools have announced two more shifts involving school principalships effective with the start of the 2017-2018 school year.

Current Mashburn Elementary School principal Tracey Smith will move over to take the helm at Brookwood Elementary. Smith began teaching in the Forsyth district in 2000 and previously had served as assistant principal at Chattahoochee and Mashburn elementaries before taking over the top spot at Mashburn in 2009.

In tandem with that, current Sawnee Elementary School assistant principal Carla Gravitt will become principal at Mashburn. Gravitt is a 24-year veteran of the school system.
