More overnight lane closures for I-285, Ga. 400

More nightly lane closures have been announced due to roadway and bridge work for the reconstruction of the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange in the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

All work is “weather permitting” and subject to change, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The closures are scheduled for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.

On westbound I-285 from Chamblee Dunwoody to Ashford Dunwoody roads, four left lanes will be closed Tuesday-Wednesday, three right lanes Wednesday-Thursday, and two right lanes Thursday-Friday; and from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to Glenridge Drive, two left lanes Thursday-Saturday.

On eastbound I-285 from Long Island Drive to Roswell Road, two right lanes will be closed Monday-Wednesday; Peachtree Dunwoody to Glenridge, two left lanes Tuesday-Thursday; and Roswell to Ga. 400, two right lanes Thursday-Saturday.

Also, on southbound Ga. 400 south of Hammond Drive, two right lanes will be closed Tuesday-Wednesday (backup closure date: Wednesday-Thursday).
