2 more men arrested in May shooting death of East Point man

Two more men were arrested Monday in connection with the May shooting death of an East Point man.

Harry Dennis, 20, and Robert Donjoie, 19, are charged with aggravated assault and criminal attempt to commit murder in connection to the slaying of Drexel Lamar Berry, Atlanta police spokesman Officer John Chafee said. They were arrested without incident in southeast Atlanta and transported to the Fulton County Jail.

Berry, 24, was shot multiple times in the 500 block of Cooper Street in southwest Atlanta on May 29, according to the police incident report. Berry, who was hit in the leg, arm and back, ran a couple of blocks to Pryor Street for help. He later died at Grady Memorial Hospital.

In June, Freedell Benton, 26, and Quantavious Guffie, 22, were arrested and charged with murder in the case. They remain in the Fulton jail.
