State highway officials have announced more overnight lane closures in the coming days as contractors prepare for the reconstruction of the Ga. 400/I-285 interchange at the top end of the Perimeter in North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

This week, weather permitting, contractors are installing speed limit signs, continuing geotechnical investigations, cleaning drains and making videos, the Georgia Department of Transportation says.

On Ga. 400 between the Glenridge Connector and Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs, one right lane and one left lane northbound and southbound will close alternately from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Friday.

On I-285 from east of Ashford Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody to Riverside Drive in Sandy Springs, one right lane will be closed westbound, and one right and one left lane will be closed alternately eastbound, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through Friday. No more than two miles will be closed at any time.

During the same time period, one right lane and shoulder will be closed on the Ashford Dunwoody on-ramp to I-285 eastbound in Brookhaven.
