More overnight lane closures have been announced for the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties to prepare for the reconstruction of the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange.

The Georgia Department of Transportation says that weather permitting, the closures will go from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following days:

July 23 to July 26: One right lane and shoulder will close on I-285 eastbound from Riverside Drive to east of Ashford Dunwoody Road. No more than two miles will be closed at any time.

July 24 to July 28: One left lane will close on I-285 eastbound from Lake Forrest to Glenridge drive; one left lane will close on I-285 westbound from Perimeter Center Parkway to Roswell Road; and one left lane will close on Ga. 400 northbound from the Johnson Ferry Road overpass to the I-285 westbound on-ramp.

The closures are for street sweeping, geotechnical investigations and drain cleaning and videos, GDOT says. Information: http://bit.ly/2jfU8S7
