Atlanta schools and parents are being encouraged to collect product box tops that will earn them cash for education.

The Urban League of Greater Atlanta and Box Tops for Education are leading the push to raise extra money for schools that can be used for field trips, band uniforms and other needs that otherwise might go unfunded.

Box Tops for Education is a program sponsored by General Mills that contributes 10 cents per pink coupon collected from a variety of products.
