The kitchen at Ansley Golf Club failed a recent health inspection after an official saw mold, improperly stored food and more.

The Ansley Room, located at the golf club's Midtown location, scored 66/U on it's Thursday inspection.

Most of the issues involved food retention and storage. That includes three-week-old candied bacon, along with melon and vegetables at the buffet above 60 degrees.

The inspector also reported no soap or paper towels at the bar, "heavy mold" in the ice machine of the main kitchen and no sneeze guard on one of the buffets.

The kitchen's last four inspections, dating back to July 2014, have all been 90 or above.

A message left Friday morning was not immediately returned.

Follow-up inspections are generally completed within 10 days of the original evaluation.
