The city of Milton Public Works Department and Georgia Department of Transportation have set a public information open house next week to display the concept for the Big Creek Greenway Connection Project.
Milton and Alpharetta partnered with the North Fulton Community Improvement District on plans for a paved bike and pedestrian trail connecting Milton with the Big Creek Greenway in Alpharetta with access to surrounding businesses and neighborhoods. The proposed trail system would run along both existing roads and through undeveloped areas and would include either a pedestrian bridge or tunnel across/under Ga. 400.
The open house (with no formal presentation scheduled) is set from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday in the courtroom/council chambers at Milton City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway.
