Milton announced that following a national search, it has named a CNN news editor its new communications director.
Greg Botelho joined Milton on Monday, Jan. 6, to lead its Communications and Engagement Department. He has more than 20 years’ media experience, including as a producer and editor for CNN Digital news in New York; Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.
Most recently, Botelho was newsdesk editor at CNN Center, producing breaking news stories and supervising a team of writers and editors.
“I am thrilled to join the city of Milton’s team, fulfilling a dream of entering public service in one of Georgia’s best communities to live, work and play,” Botelho said. “In particular, I am looking forward to connecting with Milton’s greatest asset – its highly engaged, passionate citizenry.”
