The Milton Parks & Recreation Department has retained a private academy to run summer tennis camps for children.
Under terms of an agreement approved by the Milton City Council on Monday, Agape Academy LLC, Roswell, will offer tennis lessons and camps this summer for youths 5 to 18 years of age. Agape also will offer tennis classes in the fall.
Camps will run through the first week of August, with fees of $144 and $240. Milton will receive a commission of 30 percent of fees. Registrants who live outside Milton will be pay a 50 percent surcharge, all of which will go to the city.
“Milton Camps” and night camps will be for players 7 to 18 years old of beginner, intermediate and advanced abilities; mini camps will be for beginner and intermediate players ages 5-14.
