Milton has extended through Sunday, May 31, the deadline for 2020 nominations for the city’s Wall of Fame, which honors athletes, coaches and other important contributors to Milton Parks and Recreation programs.

To be inducted, a nominee must have been a resident of Milton or the surrounding area or a graduate of one of Milton’s high schools; participated in parks and recreation programs; achieved a personal level of athletic success beyond high school; and be a good citizen and person of good character, among other requirements.

The city inducted its first class of six last year; their names are etched on the Wall of Fame at Bell Memorial Park. They included Collin McHugh, pitcher and 2017 World Series Champion with the Houston Astros; Tim Godby, a 13-time Georgia High School Association State High School Girls Lacrosse Championship coach at Milton High School; and Evan Nolte, 2014 ACC basketball champion with the University of Virginia.
