More than $1 million of marijuana was seized from a Stockbridge home by Henry County police earlier this week.

Officers took nearly 875 lbs of marijuana – with an estimated street value of $1.4 million – as well as $30,000 in cash from 175 Willow Springs Lane, police said.

Police said they also found two semi-automatic handguns.

Officers from the Narcotics Unit conducted the search, which happened Thursday.

Three people were arrested: Manuel Zuniga, 19; Geovany Martinez-Vargas, 22; and Jose Sanchez-Valencia 31, all of Stockbridge. They were taken to the Henry County jail and charged with trafficking marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, according to jail records.
