The jackpot for Friday night's Mega Millions drawing climbed to $290 million after no players matched all six numbers in Tuesday's game.

The numbers drawn Tuesday night were 1, 4, 6, 11 and 14, and the Mega Ball was 30. Six tickets, sold in Acworth, Americus, Blairsville, Rome, Tennille and Villa Rica, matched four of the first five numbers along with the Mega Ball and won $10,000, while one player in Valdosta increased a $10,000 prize to $40,000 with the "Megaplier" option.

If a single player matches all six numbers in Friday night's drawing and chooses the cash option, that player will win approximately $205 million.

The Mega Millions top prize has been steadily climbing since a College Park woman won a $72 million jackpot in late January.

The jackpot for Wednesday night's Power Ball lottery is $70 million.
