Mega Millions jackpot climbs to $26 million, but Powerball prize stands at $320 million

March 23, 2013The jackpot for next Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing climbed to $26 million after no players matched all six numbers in Friday night’s game, but that top prize is almost chump change compared to the $320 million jackpot up for grabs in Saturday night’s Powerball multi-state lottery.
The Mega Millions numbers drawn Friday night were 14, 27, 34, 37 and 41, and the Mega Ball was 38.
The Powerball top prize has been climbing since early February, when a lottery player in Virginia won $217 million.
The cash option payout for Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $198 million.
Saturday night’s Powerball drawing can be seen on WSB-TV, just before the Channel 2 Action News at 11.
