The jackpot for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery jumped to $240 million after no players matched all six numbers in Friday night’s drawing

One Georgia Lottery player matched the first five numbers drawn Friday — 3, 31, 50, 58 and 59 — but not the Mega Ball of 6, and won $1 million.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since Jan. 3, when a single player in Tennessee won $61 million.

The jackpot for Saturday night’s Powerball multi-state lottery is $60 million.

Powerball and Mega Millions drawings can be seen on Channel 2, just before the Action News Nightbeat at 11 p.m.
