McDonald's employee fired, rehired after letting NFL star use restroom

A longtime McDonald's employee in Minnesota was fired, but soon rehired, after she let Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson use the restaurant's restroom after hours.

Tiffany Langeslay, an assistant manager for the chain,  was working the drive-thru on Jan. 3 when Peterson approached the window around 3 a.m. begging to use the bathroom, according to The Consumerist. Customers aren't allowed to use the facilities when only the drive-thru is open, but Langeslay, who recognized the four-time Pro Bowler, made an exception.

She learned Thursday she had been fired, but, after news of her firing went viral, McDonald's relented and rehired Langeslay, KTSP-TV reports.

"He's a public figure... I know him better than some of the maintenance people that come in and out," she told the TV station. "I never thought in a million years that that decision was going to cost me my career."
