MARTA is modifying rail service on the Red and Gold Lines Saturday and Sunday because of work being done on tracks. Red Line trains will only operate between North Springs and Lindbergh, which means more time between trains between Lindbergh and Airport Stations. They will be running every 20 minutes. Customers traveling from North Springs will need to transfer to a Gold Line train at Lindbergh Station to continue southbound. Customers traveling northbound will need to transfer to a Red Line train at Lindbergh Station to continue to North Springs.
At Lakewood and Oakland City Stations, all trains will board on the southbound platform. MARTA will not do any daytime single-tracking on the Blue and Green Lines.
