An after school program for youth in Marietta, will mark its relocation with a ceremony 4:30 p.m. Thursday at 779 Franklin Road.

The Youth Empowerment through Learning program will also receive a $81,800 learning grant for its teen center from State Farm’s Youth Advisory Board.

The YELLS program had to move from previous space at Woodlands Park Apartments after the city scheduled the complex for demolition as part of a Franklin Road redevelopment project. The mentoring program found space in an office building less than a mile away.
