A Marietta woman died after being hit by a car over the weekend.
Nevral M. Hollomon, 50, stepped in front of a white 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix traveling south on Sandtown Road at Booth Road around 2 a.m. Saturday, Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said.
Hollomon was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where she died of her injuries, Pierce said.
The driver of the Pontiac, Rocio Mandujano, 18, and a 13-year-old passenger escaped injury, he said.
