Marietta will hold meeting on federal funding

A public review meeting will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 10 at CDBG Program Office, 268 Lawrence St., Suite 200, Marietta to receive comments on the final 2017 Community Development Block Grant allocation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Marietta is set to receive $468,637 in federal funding.

Funding received through this program is distributed to various activities that serve the needs of low and moderate-income residents of Marietta.

The 30-day public comment period will end Aug. 21.
