Marietta City schools successfully created certified "First Responder" teams in each of its schools. Members of the team have all been CPR certified and trained to operate an automated external defibrillator. School employees were trained through the "Project S.A.V.E." (Sudden Cardiac Death: Awareness, Vision for Prevention and Education) program.
