Marietta police are offering an extra firearm safety class this winter due to heavy demand.
Police planned one seminar for Thursday, Jan. 21, and recently scheduled another for Monday, Feb. 22. Marietta police hosted a "fighting terrorism" seminar last December that drew over 800 people.
The free firearm seminar will cover safety, laws and "alternative weapon usage," according to the department.
