The Marietta State of the City address will be delivered by Mayor Steve “Thunder” Tumlin on June 5.
His speech will be presented from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 5 at the Mansour Conference Center, 995 Roswell St. NE, Suite 100, Marietta.
Serving his third term as mayor, Tumlin is expected to discuss the upcoming Marietta Square Market, a large food destination, and the establishment of the Square's first craft beer brewery.
Outside the Square, in the Franklin Gateway Corridor, Tumlin will be highlighting new, large corporate investment projects such as Ikea, Home Depot, Georgia Tech and Atlanta United soccer offices.

City departments and personnel will have displays and information available both before and after the mayor’s address.
His address will be live streamed on the city’s official Facebook account at facebook.com/CityOfMarietta.
Costs for the Marietta Area Council luncheon are $30 for general admission and $20 for Cobb Chamber of Commerce members.
