A Marietta man was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Oklahoma this week, according to a local report.
Bryan K. Lewis, 53, died Monday at the scene on eastbound Oklahoma 141 in Sequoyah County, according to the Tulsa World website, citing the state Highway Patrol. Lewis suffered head and internal injuries.
Authorities had not determined whether Lewis or another passenger, Steven Z. Jones, 33, of Muldrow, Okla., was driving.
Lewis, who police said was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the 2000 Ford Explorer after the SUV overturned several times,
Jones received arm and internal injuries and was taken to a hospital in Fort Smith, Ark. Authorities said Jones was wearing a seat belt.
