Marietta will hold a public review meeting at 11 a.m. Nov. 21 at 268 Lawrence St., Suite 200, Marietta to receive comments on the reallocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Funding received through this program is allocated to various activities that serve the needs of low- and moderate-income persons of Marietta, according to a city statement.

This substantial amendment requires this public review meeting and a 30-day public comment period through 5 p.m. Dec. 2.

Changes are to transfer from PY18: Public Works and Facilities ($128,621.35) to PY19:

  • Housing Rehabilitation ($67,621.35);
  • Elderly/Disabled Grants ($40,000) and
  • Activity Service Delivery ($21,000).

Also, transfer from PY19 Public Services - Marietta Mentoring for Leadership ($9,750) to PY19 Public Services - Center for Family Resources ($9,750).
