Marietta High School and four local institutions of higher learning have formed first-time partnerships during a “College Signing Event.”

Kennesaw State University, Chattahoochee Technical College, Georgia Highlands College and Life University have signed agreements to provide support as Marietta High students connect to life after high school in conjunction with the Career, Technical and Agricultural Education program of MHS.

“These newly formed partnerships are a key component to fostering our students’ goals for life success after high school,” said Marietta City Schools Superintendent Emily Lembeck.

Marietta High Principal Forrestella Taylor said this agreement is “monumental” because it “reinforces the seamless educational opportunities for all students at MHS.”

“By providing meaningful and engaging experiences with each of these institutions, we are creating boundless options towards developing college and career-ready students,” Taylor added.
