The Marietta City Council has approved a 3 percent raise for City Manager Bill Bruton. The council a year ago increased his salary 5 percent to $187,500, and his contract through 2017. Municipal Court Judge Roger Rozen, City Solicitor Robert Donovan and Betsy Kelly, assistant to Mayor Seve Tumlin, will also receive 3 percent raises.
The council this week also approved to raise city clerk Stephanie Guy’s salary from $53,060 to $60,000.
