Marietta appoints board, council members

The Marietta City Council on Wednesday appointed Dorothy Woodruff to represent Ward 1 on the Marietta Historic Board of Review for a two-year term. Stephen Diffley, Ward 7, was reappointed to the city planning commission for a three-year term. Councilman Johnny Walker was named mayor pro tem to serve when the mayor is absent, and council member Michelle Cooper Kelly was appointed presiding officer. Both are one year terms.
