A Cobb County grand jury last week indicted a man and woman for last October’s shooting deaths of two people outside a Smyrna restaurant.
The shooting happened just after 1 a.m. on Oct. 28 outside Doc's Food & Spirits on Cumberland Boulevard.
According to Kim Isaza, spokeswoman for the Cobb district attorney’s office, the indictment alleges that Isadore Walker Barboza, Renee Elizabeth Harris and Quondre Bentley were in the process of robbing Ebone Driskell and her male friend when Driskell pulled a gun out of her purse and shot Bentley, who died of his wounds. Driskell was also shot during the robbery and also died of her wounds.
Barboza, 44, of Marietta, and Harris, 24, of East Point, were indicted Thursday on charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Barboza and Harris are being held without bond at the Cobb County Jail.
