A man was critically wounded in an apparent robbery attempt early Thursday at a Midtown apartment complex, Atlanta police said.
Officers responded to 300 Cityscape Plaza shortly after midnight and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his left arm and left chest, police spokeswoman Kim Jones said.
The 22-year-old victim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition, Jones said.
Witnesses reported hearing a shot fired and seeing two males fleeing the scene, Jones said.
The name of the victim has not been released.
