Man mugged near Norcross bus stop

Gwinnett County police are investigating a mugging that occurred Monday near a bus stop on Singleton Road and Thompson Parkway near Norcross.

The victim was walking past the bus stop around 2 a.m. after leaving the Corona Billiards Bar when two men suddenly accosted him, according to a police report. The suspects kicked and punched him, stole his wallet and cell phone and ran away.

The victim said one of the attackers was a Hispanic man about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds with a tattoo of a female figure near his left bicep.
