Man found dead at Atlanta airport

May 19, 2013

Atlanta police are investigating after a man was found dead at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Sunday.

Preliminary information is that a male, possibly an employee, was found dead in the seat of a vehicle near the Renaissance Hotel on airport property, Atlanta police spokesman Officer John Chafee said.

It appears that the man may have died of natural causes, but the cause of death is pending autopsy results, he said.

There are no obvious signs of foul play at this time, Chafee said.

No other information was immediately available.
