Fulton County police are investigating the death of a man who died from multiple gunshots in a public park Tuesday.
The man, who police have not yet identified, was shot around 3 p.m. in Cliftondale Park off of Butner Road, Detective Melissa Parker told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
An acquaintance took the wounded man to his house in a nearby subdivision and called 911, Parker said. Paramedics transported the victim to Atlanta Medical Center South, where he was pronounced dead, she said.
Detectives are investigating how many people were involved and the motive for the shooting, Parker said.
