Peachtree City police have arrested a Columbus man in connection with several automobile break-ins.

On Saturday, officers responded to a report at the Days Inn on Crosstown Drive regarding vehicles with broken windows; a tire iron and evidence of stolen property were found nearby. After noticing suspicious behavior from two occupants of an upstairs room, an officer investigated and subsequently charged Fernandon Lindo, 19, with seven felony counts of Entering Auto. Although some of the cars showed signs of forced entry, a police spokesman said others appear to have been left unlocked.
