What would you do if you won a million dollars?

Well, Lilburn’s Penelope Henritze, 68, plans to move to the country and start a farm with the $1 million top prize she won playing the instant game Georgia Millions.

“I’m going to get a horse, a donkey and chickens,” she said in the news release. “This has been a dream to have a farm.”

Henritze picked up her big check Thursday at the same place where she bought the big ticket — Texaco Food Mart at 4578 Britt Road in Tucker.

A Jonesboro man also started the new year with a lottery win, but he doesn’t have any plans for the money yet.

“We’re going to wait and see how everything unfolds,” Bobby Benjamin, 65, said.

Benjamin won $400,000 when he purchased the instant ticket 20X The Money on New Year’s Eve at SS Food Mart, 4511 Campbellton Road SW in Atlanta.

Benjamin and his wife, Sharon, have been married 45 years and are no strangers to lottery luck. They won $10,000 in 2010 and $5,000 in 2011 from other instant tickets.

When he got home with the latest winning ticket, “I handed my wife the ticket, and we all started dancing,” Benjamin said.

They picked up the prize Wednesday at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.
