The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Tuesday chose Astra Group Inc. to build the $10.8 million Level Creek Park at 800 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Sugar Hill.
The new park will include a multi-use field complex with artificial turf, six lighted tennis courts, walking trail, concession building, an interactive fountain, playground, pavilion and more. The majority of funds for the project come from the 2009 SPLOST program, with the remaining 1.3 percent coming from the county’s capital project fund.
