Gwinnett commissioners agreed Jan. 5 to renew a contract for mowing and trimming of landscaped roadsides and along public sidewalks throughout the county. The $280,000 contract represents a slight decrease in cost, saving the county $2,397 this year without a reduction in services.
The Gwinnett Department of Transportation sites a recent market analysis showing prices remaining stable thanks to lower fuel prices.
The contract, which begins March 17 for one year, is shared between ACS Landscape Management Inc. and NGL and Erosion Control Group LLC.
