A $1M winning Mega Millions ticket that was sold last year in west Georgia expired recently when the window to claim it closed.

While that opportunity is gone, there is still time for the would-be owners of two unclaimed Georgia Lottery jackpot prizes, which total more than $1 million.

Two Fantasy 5 jackpot prizes from late 2017 are still outstanding:

• A ticket sold at a Shell in McDonough won $741,400 from the Nov. 2 drawing.

• A Publix in Powder Springs sold a ticket worth $368,844 from the Nov. 22 drawing.

The odds of matching all five Fantasy 5 numbers are one in 850,668.

Fantasy 5 winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes, so both winners still have time to claim the money.

There were no unclaimed Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot prizes in Georgia in 2017, according to a spokeswoman.
