Nine people died Wednesday when a man allegedly opened fire during Bible study. The suspected gunman, Dylann Storm Roof, was arrested on Thursday in Shelby, N.C.

St. Philip AME Church: Prayer for Charleston, 7 p.m. on Friday. 240 Candler Rd. SE, Atlanta.
St. Luke Lutheran Church ELCA: Prayer service Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 3264 Northside Pkwy. NE, Atlanta.
Diverse coalition of faith leaders: Interracial prayer service on Saturday at noon, Peachtree Christian Church, 1580 Peachtree St., Atlanta.
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church: Mass will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. at 25 Boulevard NE, Atlanta.
