Loan will provide band uniforms for Allatoona High

Band members from Allatoona High School in Acworth will receive new uniforms - thanks to a loan from the Cobb County School District.

The $41,147 loan was approved 7-0 Thursday by the Cobb County Board of Education.

However, the school must pay back the funds over the next five years.

Upon request of the high schools and approval of the board, this loan program is available to any public high school for the purchase of band uniforms.
