Lilburn will hold a general election on Nov. 7 for Lilburn City Council Post 3, currently held by Eddie Price and Post 4, held by Tim Dunn. Anyone interested in running for one of these positions must qualify for candidacy between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Aug. 21 through Aug. 23 at Lilburn City Hall, 340 Main St. The qualifying fee is $105.
Anyone running for these seats must be a registered voter who has lived in the city limits for at least one year. Council members serve four-year terms and are elected at large, meaning that each member serves all city residents rather than a district.
