Library board to discuss budget

Dec 6, 2012

The Gwinnett County Public Library Board will discuss the county’s proposed budget at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the library administrative office, 1001 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville.

County Commission Chairwoman Charlotte Nash has proposed cutting library spending by $1 million as part of her 2013 budget. She is recommending the library board cut spending on materials instead of reducing hours, as it did in response to county budget cuts last year.
