The Gwinnett County Public Library System is working with Vision to Learn to provide free vision screenings, eye exams, and, if necessary, glasses to local children.

According to the GCPL website, “quality vision care is an important component of education; students that cannot see often struggle to learn to read, to see the board, and to succeed academically.”

Eye screenings and exams will take place between 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following Gwinnett libraries:

July 15 – Lilburn Branch, 4817 Church St.

July 16 ¬– Centerville Branch, 3025 Bethany Church Road in Snellville

July 18 – Lawrenceville Branch, 1001 Lawrenceville Highway

July 23 – Norcross Branch, 6025 Buford Highway

July 24 – Buford Branch, 2100 Buford Highway

Aug. 2 – Snellville Branch, 2740 Lenora Church Road

Space is Limited. No walk-ins will be accepted.

You must pre-register via email form: www.gwinnettpl.org/vision-to-learn/ or in person at your local library. Information: 770-978-5154.
