The Henry County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution requesting the approval of a lease agreement between Henry County Police Department and DDR Corporation for the Ellenwood/Fairview Police Precinct.
The action came at the board’s May 1 regular meeting. The monthly expenses for the leased unit will be $2,094 which includes rent that is priced at $816.67; common area maintenance charges at $233.33; an insurance charge at $35 and a $163.33 real estate tax charge. The police department has rented the unit in the Ellenwood Shopping Center through the DDR Corp. since May of 2011 and is looking to renew the contract July 1 of this year. The 12-month long contract will end June 30, 2019.
