Peachtree Corners will host a workshop to learn how to help protect the water quality of the Chattahoochee River 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 16 at Peachtree Corners City Hall, 147 Technology Parkway.
Attendees will learn how everyday activities can affect the water quality of the 2,000-foot river corridor bordering the northwest corner of the city. Questions answered will include any concerning landscaping, building a deck, or adding home additions in the river corridor.
During the workshop, citizens will also learn more about the Chattahoochee River Corridor’s BacteriALERT program. Representatives of the National Resource Division of the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), the Chattahoochee RiverKeeper, the Gwinnett Department of Water Resources and city staff will be on hand to answer questions.
