Lawrenceville will hold a citywide recycling event 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at 20 S. Clayton Street in downtown, also known as the old Police Station parking lot.

Limit of five boxes for paper shredding. Electronic devices: cell phones, computers, keyboards, etc., are free. $10 for TVs. Projection TVs and Console TVs not accepted. $5.00 per tire. The city will accept metal, and old appliances. Volunteers will help unload if necessary. Open to all residents and non-residents.

In addition to recycling, donations will be accepted for Gwinnett area food pantries during the event.
