The Lawrenceville City Council approved a request recently to move 12 vehicles and one mobile lift dumpster from the city’s fleet and surplus them for sale or disposal. These vehicles have reached the end of their usefulness, either due to mileage or condition.
The vehicles come from multiple departments. The Meter department will surplus a 2003 Ford Ranger, 2005 Ford Ranger, two 2007 Ford Rangers. The Sanitation department will surplus a 2003 International 4400 Chassis and a 1995 International C&C. The Electric department will sell a 2003 Chevrolet C1500 and a 2011 Ford F150. The Street department will surplus a 1990 GMC C&C Topkick, a 2004 Chevrolet 2500, a 2002 Ford F250 Crew Cab,and a 1989 Chevrolet C3500.
