Lawrenceville is seeking candidates to fill vacancies on various boards and committees. These volunteer positions provide insight, recommendations and leadership in the decision-making process for city-wide and downtown-specific development opportunities, arts and cultural programming and financial oversight and transparency.
Most positions require candidates to be taxpaying residents living within Lawrenceville city limits, although one or two of these boards may also consider individuals with business ownership and/or management in the city or county. Boards with opportunities in 2020 include: Downtown Architectural Review Board, Board of Appeals, Lawrenceville Development Authority, Financial Review Citizen Committee, Planning Commission, Lawrenceville Arts Commission, and the Aurora Theatre Board of Directors.
