When inspecting gas main breaks, Lawrenceville takes city workers safety very seriously. Special equipment is required to protect workers and ensure their safety.

To meet that need the Lawrenceville city council agreed Jan. 4, to the purchase of six emergency self-contained breathing masks and related equipment. The $14,612 contract is awarded to the lowest of four bidders, Stag Enterprises Inc. of Ball Ground.
