The Lawrenceville City Council voted Monday to approve a request by the Lawrenceville Police Department to use asset forfeiture funds seized during the commission of crimes to upgrade 30 computer workstations. The $34,050 purchase of Dell Precision T1700 workstations is part of a three-year plan to replace 81 workstations for a total of $124,050.
The city council also approved a $51,339 request to purchase emergency lighting and equipment as well as the installation of the equipment for seven new vehicles.
